601 Bar & Grill: Savor Juicy Burgers and Detroit Style Pizza in Addison, IL

We had a fairly decent time at this place. Bruschetta was pretty good & do yourself a favor, if you come here, order a burger! We ordered a western & a classic both medium rare and they were soooo juicy and flavorful. The reason I knocked a star off was because service was verrryyyyy slow. There were a couple other tables seated but they weren’t busy by any means. It was our first time here and when we walked in there were no employees in sight, no sign about seating yourself or wait to be seated, etc. We ended up standing there a hot minute before a waitress showed up. She said seat yourself unless it’s busy. Service throughout the meal was also very slow. We will probably go back because the burgers were really so good, but hopefully the service will be better!

The food is that good, period! The venue is pretty basic, and service is great if a touch busy/understaffed.... but again, you're coming here for the food. Burgers = amazing Detroit style pizza = Incredible!!!

We had such a good experience here. Our waitress was awesome even though she seemed to be working alone. The French Onion Soup was really good but could've used a little more cheese and time in the oven. The wings were cooked perfectly, and the hot sauce was so good. I live nowhere near here but will probably be coming back.

My wife and I love coming here for food and drinks. It took us a long time to finally stop in, and now it's one of our go to spots. Always friendly service, great food and happy hour deals. Everything we've eaten there has been phenomenal. Some of our favorites are the wings, jalapeño poppers, cheese fries and the Detroit pizza was ridiculously good if you like crispy pan style pizza. The cheese was crunchy on the edges. Poppers are battered and made in house. Love this spot!

Traveling for work and I found a diamond! Shay has amazing customer service, a friendly smile and a sparkling personality! The food was delicious, one of the best cheese& bacon pizzas I've had ! Drinks were flavorful and cheesecake dessert with strawberry topping hit the spot! Ill be back on my next trip <3 thank you!

This is a hot take I'm gonna make out the gate, but this might be the best Detroit Style Pizza in Chicagoland! I was out in that direction one day for work-related purposes, and searched for D-Style Pizza; this spot popped up. It's the only place that I didn't try, and didn't know about it previously. Upon arriving, the service was efficient (shoutout to Stacy), the pizza was insanely well made, and all of it is very affordable. I've been several times already just within a 2 week period, so the pictures are a few highlights from my select visits, but it's worth the drive from the city to experience this pizza. It's consistently good, and always a solid experience each time. The patrons are nice too, which is a plus. RUN, NOT WALK THERE IF YOU'RE IN THE AREA!

We absolutely love coming here, every year, on St. Patty's weekend strictly for their Corned Beef & Cabbage dinner, but most importantly, their soda bread. Until last year, it was made by the owner, and she made the VERY BEST. I loved that she'd always let me take a piece, or a few, to go to have with my leftovers. One year, we drove from Pittsburgh straight to 601 just to ensure that I wouldn't miss our annual St. Patty's weekend dinner!! I knew this year something was different as soon as I saw and tasted the soda bread. It was disheartening to find out that this sweet lady passed away, may she rest in peace, and her family find comfort in her memory.
